![]() It’s like memes, people are attracted precisely because they are detached and different from life, in part thanks to the art style. To me the characters do seem to be drawn 'young', and almost always have enlarged proportions and very revealing clothing. My only previous experience with anime shipgirls was that I described above. Because of my ignorance I'm trying to understand what attracts people to this kind of cartoon particularly. You'll forgive me for being an old guy, and one who was never exposed to much Japanese culture and almost no anime (although I watched royal space force, that was cool). If one wants to try voiceovers before buying, there is option to get them by editing preferences.xml in main WoWs folder. Some of us left to start a new group after some weeks of this, and we are now a clan :) remember. Chief, who had joined 110 on the sail, chose this ravin umali Azur Lane. When I say graphic I mean clothed but still. I barely looked at the ones on the last few pages, but I was a member of a nameless WoWs group on facebook which was got spammed by mostly (but not exclusively) Asian/SEA players posting very graphic depictions of what I assume to be kancolle or similar shipgirls. That's quite the spirited defence of something I'm just trying to understand. Where are these omnipresent massive breasts? Could be it that you're so thirsty that you see massive breasts on kids that (being, you know, pre-adolescent kids) have none? That's worrying. You complain about weebs but you imagine massive breasts on pre-adolescent girls? Because this thread, for one, has a bunch of presumably adolescent or pre-adolescent girls. I already have Atago though for their cruiser counterpart. still wishing for ARP ships to have camo bonuses so I can use them like premium Kongos. So forgive me if I’m just a bit disinterestly detached to another 3rd attempt at a collab (at almost the same thing) and can WG maybe make WoWs itself more interesting please. To others, as I said I do not dislike ship girls, but do not like them particularly much either amongst all anime or even more in general art, material. I can also tell you some hints on why some riffs from the Touhou soundtrack is popular and if one fan track is better than another and why. I can tell you why their events are good and how the gameplay is good despite being supposedly “simple”. I can tell you why the ships are drawn as they are, what went into the decisions behind some of the art detail decisions and styles and why your response/perception to seeing it is as it is. If I may briefly direct your attention to this:Īnd that I have a lot of other unposted perspectives on discord and personal notes analyzing KC too. Dive into the massive naval battles and tame the overwhelming power of multi ton. Plus KC has quite the good soundtrack and if Touhou has taught us anything, it's that a good soundtrack alone can be grounds for massive popularity. World of Warships is a free-to-play naval action MMO that shifts players to the territory of 20th century warships. I bet a lot of KC fans have never even played the game. Got Hood as a commander, checked out the g. Funny enough, through the 2nd collab they did last year. I mostly only have time to play world of warships, but last year, I found out about the mobile game Azur Lane. In fact, it was basically the only popular "ww2 online warship game" still around with WoWs still in development and NavyField falling off the face of the earth.Īnd ofc the community around KC creating a load of fan material. Hello Everyone, I dont generally post on the forums, but I felt the need to do so now. But of course this stuff is totally unofficial.KC also had quite the unique setting back then and enjoyed a monopoly on it. The only thing that raised my eyebrows was some third-party artwork from "fans" who maybe let their teenage fantasies run away with them a bit. ![]() There is no reason why Wargaming have to include any elements from the official Azure Lane franchise that would upset anybody. The gameplay itself seems unsophisticated compared to WoWS, but there is an element of collecting stuff and developing ships and characters to make it more complicated. I knew nothing of Azure Lane before this thread, but I prompted a bit of research on my part. The content Azur Lane got from WoWs is allready on their servers and researchable SINCE the (DD.MM.YYYY) I fear I have to Crush your Hopes even further. I do NOT begrudge the pleasure of those who did. I have not been participated in the previous event because I am not interested. Participation for all of the collaborations has been optional, and I am sure that the Azure Lane one will be. Some of of us even originally joined this game for the immersion and naval history. Idk, it’s just I’m abit tired with all the anime collabs.Ĭant WG make their own shipgirls/anime mascots?
